Introduction to CSS

In this class we’ll introduce you to Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) basics. We’ll talk about the time saving purpose of CSS and how you can use it to style your web page.  To do this, you’ll learn how to insert CSS into your HTML document, CSS rule-set, comments, and much more! By the end of this class, you’ll add CSS to your first web page.


About the series: In this series you will learn HTML and CSS, two basic yet crucial languages each website uses to display content across the web and mobile devices.

Prerequisites: Basic PC and internet skills: able to send email, browse the web, navigate a desktop, and save files to a folder. Recommended: Intro to Programming Concepts to establish an understanding of the background concepts we'll use.
