Are you interested in viewing eclectic and lesser-known films? Join us!

We are partnering with Oddball Cinema. Oddball Cinema presents movies that you won’t find at your local multiplex: obscure, unusual, and independent features, as well as occasional classics. The host will introduce the movie, focusing on what makes it “oddball.” After the film, there will be time to discuss it.

About the film: In 1920s Los Angeles, a stuntman lies paralyzed in a hospital bed after an accident on a film set.  A little girl with her arm in a cast wanders into his room, and – seeing that he has nowhere to go and nothing else to do – she asks him to tell her a story.  The bulk of the film is devoted to the fantastic and elaborate fiction he makes up for her.  As the girl becomes obsessed with the story, her perception of fantasy and reality begins to blur, and the man’s purpose in telling it comes into focus.
