SUMMARY:U.S. Citizenship Class (online)
DESCRIPTION:Prepare for the United States Citizenship Exam.\n\nThis class 
 meets online every Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and is led by 
 experienced library staff.\n\nEach class will:\n\n\n	study the 100 civics 
 questions on the exam\n	prepare to take the oral and written portions of 
 the exam in English\n	review the process for filling out the Naturalization 
 application\n	practice for the Naturalization interview. \n\n\nSince each 
 class will cover a different section of the exam you may start the class at 
 any time. The exam is divided up into 12 sections. We will begin with the 
 first section and advance in order. They are as follows:\n\n\n	Early 
 America\n	Establishing Independence\n	The U.S. Constitution\n	U.S. History 
 in the 1800's\n	U. S. History since 1900\n	Equality and Freedom\n	Rights 
 and Responsibilities\n	U.S. Geography\n	American Symbols and 
 Celebrations\n	The Executive Branch\n	The Legislative Branch\n	The Judicial 
 Branch\n\n\nBecause the oral portion of the exam requires the person being 
 tested to understand the questions being asked and to answer them correctly 
 in English\, this class will emphasize spoken English. We will also 
 practice the vocabulary and grammar needed to answer the questions 
 successfully.\n\nREGISTRATION REQUIRED to receive the Zoom link. The class 
 will be held via Zoom. Once you have registered you will receive a link to
