Whether beauty is subjective or objective, ephemeral or eternal, arouses the senses or charms the intellect, its definition has forever challenged philosophers and artists alike. This multimedia presentation invites you to ponder the meanings of beauty and examine the mathematics behind things beautiful. Dr. Monica Neagoy’s multimedia talk has garnered much acclaim, having been presented in countless cities on four continents.

Dr. Neagoy as both a mathematics educator and artist, infuses, infects, and injects her audience with a fascination for mathematics. She has a B.S. in Mathematics and Philosophy from Georgetown University, a M.A. in pure mathematics from Catholic University, and PhD in Mathematics Education from the University of Maryland.

P.S. No specialized math knowledge needed to participate and enjoy this event. Prepare to be amazed.
