Good for kids in grades K through 5

In honor of Pride Month, come learn about the history of the pride flag:

  • How the first rainbow pride flag was made
  • About the politician, Harvey Milk, who first thought of having a symbol to represent the LGBTQ community
  • About Gilbert Baker, the original artist of the flag.
  • After hearing a story about the flag's creation, we'll create our own buttons with the pride flag and quotes from Harvey Milk and Gilbert Baker.

Registration not required.
