Attendees will be entered to win a Corinne Doll and her two books from American Girl!

Wendy Shang, author of the 2022 American Girl Corinne books and The Secret Battle of Evan Pao, will show audiences how she draws on Chinese American history to create compelling stories. Participants will then be guided through a writing exercise to think about histories for their own characters and stories.
