Reading books by or about people who have pushed boundaries and expectations.

Formerly the Bad Broads Book Club, this monthly book club covers books of all genres written by or about cisgender women, trans* women, and nonbinary/ genderfluid people who have pushed boundaries and expectations.

Join us for a virtual discussion of "The Haunting of Hill House" by Shirley Jackson.

About the book: Four people find themselves at the notorious Hill House, where spooky happenings seem to indicate the house wants to claim one of them forever. We'll discuss how this classic novel helped define the horror genre.

The Breaking Barriers Book Club meets on the second Thursday of each month. New members always welcome. You do not have to read the book to attend, but it is encouraged.
