Age: Babies 0-12 months

Outdoor Baby Lapsit Storytime is for babies 0-12 months and an accompanying adult. We focus on songs, nursery rhymes, and various manipulatives to introduce babies to the joys of both language and literature.

Location: This event will take place outdoors in the seating area adjacent to the Signature Theatre box office window, next to the main entrance to the Shirlington Branch Library. Please bring a blanket from home to sit on. 

COVID-19 Safety: Family groups will be spaced 6 feet apart to account for social distancing. Masks are required for adults, and all attendees are encouraged to wear a mask.

RSVP for an event reminder and to receive weather-related cancelation notifications. Attendance is first-come, first-served until event capacity of 20 is reached.

For safety, Storytime programs are canceled in the event of inclement weather. Please note that the Library bathroom will not be available for use.
