Join us in November for a virtual discussion of "All the Birds in the Sky"  by Charlie Jane Anders:

An ancient society of witches and a hipster technological startup go to war in order to prevent the world from tearing itself apart. To further complicate things, each of the groups’ most promising followers (Patricia, a brilliant witch, and Laurence, an engineering “wunderkind”) may just be in love with each other. As the battle between magic and science wages in San Francisco against the backdrop of international chaos, Laurence and Patricia are forced to choose sides. But their choices will determine the fate of the planet and all mankind.

During this book's discussion, we'll also be voting for Feb-May 2021 titles. The list includes:

1. The Krone Experiment by Jake Craig Wheeler

2. Wild Seed by Octavia Butler

3. Ubik by Phillip K Dick

4. Nightfall by Isaac Asimov

5. The High Crusade by Poul Anderson

6. Stories of Your Life and Others by Ted Chiang

7. Famous Men Who Never Lived by K Chess
