Reverse Genealogy Research: Moving from the 19th Century to the Present

Presented by the Center for Local History
Genealogists are always taught to start with the present and work their way backwards. In some cases, the research requires you to think outside of the box. This lecture will demonstrate when reverse genealogy might be needed and how you can go about using it.
Char McCargo Bah is CEO/Owner of findingthingsforu, LLC. A genealogist since 1981, she has appeared in numerous television interviews and documentaries and is the author of two books including her most recent book “Alexandria’s Freedmen’s Cemetery: A Legacy of Freedom.”
This event will be presented on Zoom. Registrants will receive the Zoom information by email within 24 hours of the event start time.
