Learn cartooning from an expert!

This cartooning series with DC artist Alexandra Bowman is for late elementary, middle, and high school students based in Northern Virginia and DC Metro Area who want to practice their cartooning and want to learn how to design and bring to life their own characters. Cartooning is an accessible art form that almost everyone has been exposed to, and many want to know how to do but never get the chance to sit down and try. This workshop series will teach young people the basics and get them started! You will learn that cartooning and illustration are fun and doable even without "formal" experience, and you'll be introduced to an activity they can enjoy from home during this unprecedented time.   You must sign up for each even separately; you do not need to have attended earlier events to sign up for later ones.
