Join us for a Zoom meeting with Author Elinor Lipman

Take a break from working from home and join APL to celebrate the lighter side of literature.

Take an escape with a romantic comedy and get to know Elinor Lipman, author of "Good Riddance", who will join us for a Zoom discussion of her book.

Book Description:

Daphne Maritch doesn’t quite know what to make of the heavily annotated high school yearbook she inherits from her mother, who held this relic dear. The late June Maritch was the teacher to the class of ’68 had dedicated its yearbook, and in turn she went onto attend every reunion, scribbling notes and observations. And was there some kind of short-hand code to be deciphered? In a fit of decluttering, Daphne discards the yearbook. But when it’s found in the recycling bin by a busybody/neighbor/documentary filmmaker, the yearbook’s mysteries take on a whole new urgency.

This group will meet every two weeks. New members are always welcome. You don't have to read the book to join, but it is encouraged.

Instructions to join the Zoom meeting will be emailed the day before the meeting to all registrants.
