Blind and Low Vision Resource Group: Using Voice Assistants to Help with Daily Life

Local experts in the low vision community will speak on unique topics at each meeting. People who are blind or have low vision, and anyone wishing to know more about low vision resources, are welcomed and encouraged to attend. This program is sponsored by the Talking Book service at Arlington Public Library.
Paul Burden, founder of Our Voice, will talk about how voice assistants, and specifically Amazon's Alexa, can be a valuable tool in enhancing the lives of people with vision issues, helping them accomplish many daily activities.
The Arlington Public Library uses subject matter experts from a variety of sources to provide educational public programs. We do not endorse, suggest or recommend a specific company, product or service.
