Together we can change attitudes, assumptions, and disparities affecting LGBTQIA+ health

While LGBTQIA+ individuals have many of the same health concerns as the general population, they experience certain health challenges at higher rates, and also face several unique health challenges, from higher instances of mental illness to harassment, victimization, and violence.

Join Dr. Cecily Havert and Dr. Natasha Beauvais to learn about:

  • Health disparities linked to societal stigma, discrimination, and denial of LGBTQIA+ civil rights.
  • The resources and organizations in our community providing for LGBTQIA+ optimal health and well being.
  • The specific needs of individuals at different ages, from adolescense to adulthood, and of different orientations.

An open forum will follow the presentation.
