A high-fun, low-stress class designed to show you how improvisers create spontaneous, off-the-cuff theater.

Washington Improv Theater is dedicated to sharing the ideas and spirit of improv. In WIT’s free introductory Improv For All workshops, enthusiastic and friendly instructors work to make sure all participants can explore improv in a playful and trusting atmosphere.

You don’t need theater experience. You don’t need to be a “funny person.” Whether you are thinking about signing up for one of WIT's eight-week courses, interested in exploring the idea of improv, or just looking for one night of silly, get-out-of-your-head play, just come in ready to have a good time.

Improv is an amazing way to help people connect with each other and reignite their sense of play. So join in on the fun!
