A High-fun, Low-stress Introduction to Imrov.
This class, taught by Washington Improv Theater, will show you how improvisers create the spontaneous, off-the-cuff theater known as "improv." Enthusiastic and friendly instructors will work to make sure that all participants can explore improv in a playful and trusting atmosphere.
You don’t need theater experience. And you don’t need to be a “funny person.” Whether you are thinking about signing up for one of WIT's eight-week courses, interested in exploring the idea of improv, or just looking for one night of silly, get-out-of-your-head play, just come in ready to have a good time.
Improv is an amazing way to help people connect with each other and reignite their sense of play. So join in on the fun!
Washington Improv Theater strives to ensure its events are accessible to all audiences. Central Library is accessible to people who use wheelchairs through the back entrance. If you have specific accessibility questions, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
This program is part of the Library’s summer reading program: Everyone Has a Story.
