Python: Intermediate
 
Python is a high-level, feature-rich, and free programming language that is available on numerous operating systems including Windows, Mac, and Linux. This course builds on fundamental concepts and covers python data structures, error handling, system functions, file input/output, user defined functions, and basic web interactions.
These lessons will be paired with brief, hands on exercises to give students some hands on experience with writing and executing code.
In this class learn to:
- Understand Python documentation
- Work with Python data structures
- Interact with the file system
- Read/write from a file
- Pull data from a website
- Handle errors
- Create user defined functions
Prerequisites: Completion of Python: Introduction class or similar experience
Laptops will be provided and students are welcome to use their own as well.
