A Night of Regency History

Are you a Jane Austen fanatic? Like to sew and dance? Interested in the War of 1812?
Travel back in time to the Regency era that took place in the United Kingdom during the turn of the 19th century. Named after the Prince Regent (later George IV), the time period is defined by its distinctive fashion, literature, architecture, and arts. Learn more about the Regency era with Katherine Spivey from the Regency Society of Virginia as she explains more about the history and culture of the time period and how its popularity still has lasting influence today.
This event is also great way to get unusual ideas for your Lit Up Ball costume.
