Black History Month: Read-In

Read With Us!
Bring your favorite book or article by an African-American author, then make yourself comfortable and read quietly with your community.
Want a reading recommendation? Librarians will be there to help you in find something new. A variety of fiction, non-fiction, genre and poetry books by African-American authors for all ages will be available at the event for check-out.
You are invited to stay until 8, and join in a group discussion of the books we are reading. Refreshments will be served.
Readers with small children are welcome to attend the Black History Month Storytime program from 6-7 p.m. in the Storytime Room, then join us upstairs for quiet reading time.
RSVP for an event reminder; attendance is on a first-come, first-served basis.
This program is part of the Library’s celebration of Black History Month.
