For kids in grades 6-8.

Rosie Riveters, an organization that focuses on engaging and encouraging girls in STEM, will be offering three 3-week programs this fall:

  • Kindergarten-1st Grade Program: Saturdays, October 20, November 17, and December 15 from 10:30am-11:30am at Westover Branch Library
  • 2nd-5th Grade Program: Saturdays, October 13, November 10, and December 8 from 10:30am-12:30pm at Columbia Pike Branch Library
  • 6th-8th Grade Program: Saturdays, October 6, November 3, and December 1 from 10:30am-12:30pm at Shirlington Branch Library

Rosie Riveters offers a project-based STEM curriculum for girls that focuses on building confidence through hands-on design and implementation. Please note that your child must be able to attend all three program dates to participate. This program features all new content, so there will be no repetition if your child has attended another Rosie Riveters program before.

Online registration for this program opens on Sunday, September 16th at 8 p.m. on the Rosie Riveters website at:

As spots fill quickly, we encourage those who would like to participate to visit promptly at 8PM when registration opens.
