Encore Learning Presents: Ellen Butler, Author of "The Brass Compass"
Join author Ellen Butler for a discussion of her recent book, "The Brass Compass," which highlights the role of women in the Office of Strategic Services (OSS) during World War II.
Butler will discuss their skills, training, weapons, and their contributions to the Allied cause.
Copies of the book will be available for $15.
Encore Learning is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2002. They offer a wide variety of college-level noncredit courses, clubs, special events and activities to help meet the continuing educational and social interests of anyone over age 50, regardless of residence location.
