Celebrate Black History Month at the Library

WPFW-FM 89.3 Program Director Katea Stitt walks through the evolution of Black music, highlighting its inference and impact on social justice movements.

Throughout American history, Black musicians have been musical innovators and the sound they’ve created has provided the soundtrack to some of our most significant social movements. With a message reflecting the socio-political issues of the day, this music has inspired, empowered and served as an agent for positive change in American society.

Please RSVP for this event.
