Women's History Wikipedia-Edit-a-Thon
Did you know only 17.34% of the English-language biographical articles on Wikipedia are about women?
In honor of Women's History Month, Wikimedia DC will lead a Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon with the goal of creating and/or revising biographical articles about Arlington women throughout history. Print and digital resources from the Library's collection will be provided for inspiration. View the Wikipedia event page here.
There are a limited number of laptops available to be reserved. Participants should bring their own laptops for editing articles, if possible.
Lunch will be served. Registration is required.
