This 7 week series is designed for caregivers who wish to improve their knowledge of the best ways to support the physical and emotional growth of healthy, creative, curious and safe children.

Session 7: LUV Listening (Listen, Understand, Validate)

Michael Swisher, Assets Liaison, Arlington Partnership for Children, Youth and Families will present on the topic of learning what is at the heart of a strong and supportive relationship with a child, including:

• Listening to children without judging them,
• Understanding where they come from, and
• Validating their feelings and abilities.

Refreshments will be served during the informal question and answer time, at 8:00 p.m.
