Exploring WWI through The National Archives
In 1973 a fire at the National Military Personnel Records Center in St. Louis, MO, destroyed, among other records, the WWI military service records.
Constance Potter, a retired archivist at the National Archives, will describe how researchers can use other records available at the National Archives to learn about soldier participation in WWI. She will also speak specifically about the involvement of Arlington service members during the war.
