Exploring World War 1 in Film

Based on Erich Remarque's anti-war novel, this film, produced in 1930, follows a group of German recruits during World War 1 as they go from patriotism to disillusionment.

Join us at 6 p.m. for a screening of a student made short film about Arlington and WWI produced for the Document Arlington Project with Arlington Independent Media. Sara Steinberger, Co-chair of the World War I Commemoration Task Force will introduce the student's film.

During the World War I Film Series we will be collecting donations of toiletries for hospitalized veterans (travel and regular sized) such as shampoo, conditioner, soap, deodorant, shaving cream, razors, lotions, toothpaste, floss, toothbrushes, mouthwash, personal hygiene items, etc.
