About the instructor:

She founded OCEAN Yoga LLC in 2010. While Tricia continues to teach for OCEAN, she feels that expanding herself in the community is a great way to help spread the many wonderful benefits yoga can offer.

Tricia grew up in the Philippines and Northern Virginia, and has an extensive background in dance and movement. Beginning her path in therapeutic yoga , she studied with Sonia Sumar (Yoga for the Special Child), Craig Hanauer (Every Kid’s Yoga, Teaching Yoga to Children with Special Needs), and YoKid and is certified in Level 1-3 Yoga Therapy 1 and Yoga Back through Yogafit. She has also fulfilled certifications with Mindful Schools and attended The Medical Symposium for Therapeutic Yoga. Tricia is continuing her Yoga education plans to become a 200hr RYT in the future months to come.  Her classes include Power Yoga, Mix Level Yoga, Yogilates, Therapeutic Yoga and Kid’s Yoga for 2 ½-12 year-old children.
