League of Women Voters: How to Run Effective Meetings
Learn to Lead Meetings Like a Parliamentarian.
This program will give civic leaders, club members, and community activists resources to run successful meetings—just in-time for the 2016 Election frenzy.
The workshop will be a brief 90-minute training with an entertaining skit, a presentation on using Robert’s Rules of Order, as well as sample documents for creating meeting agendas and taking effective minutes. The goal of the workshop is to present parliamentary procedure in a fun and engaging way and to share meeting tools with organizational leaders, civic group members, and activists.
