Twenty-five years after the events of September 11, 2001, join us for an evening of remembrance, reflection, and resilience as we honor those whose lives were forever changed and explore the enduring strength of a community that came together in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

This special program will examine the profound impact of 9/11 on our Nation, the Arlington community, and those who answered the call to serve. As we commemorate this milestone anniversary, we will also reflect on the healing, unity, and hope that have emerged over the past quarter century. The evening will feature a panel discussion with:

• The Honorable Brian Birdwell, a retired U.S. Army officer and Pentagon 9/11 survivor who was critically injured in the attack.
• Ron Carlee, served as Arlington County Manager during the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the Pentagon.
• CAPT Bernetta Lane, USPHS (Ret.). served on active duty at the DiLorenzo Pentagon Health Clinic and was a first responder at the Pentagon on 9/11, providing medical services to victims and first responders.
• Jim Schwartz, retired Arlington County Deputy County Manager, who served as an Arlington firefighter and was a key leader in Arlington’s response to the attack on the Pentagon.
• CW5 (Ret.) Phyllis Wilson, President of the Military Women’s Memorial and a 37-year Army veteran whose service included the post-9/11 era.

Following the panel, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a moderated question-and-answer session before joining fellow guests for networking and continued conversation.

• 5:30 p.m. – Doors open, check-in, and light refreshments
• 6:30 p.m. – Program and panel discussion
• Q&A – Audience questions following the discussion
• 8:00–8:30 p.m. – Networking

For Amazon security purposes, all guests will be vetted prior to the event and will receive a name badge and event credentials upon check-in. Registrations that do not include a full name for each attendee may not be honored.
