Join us to learn about our neighborhood trees.

Take a walk around Quincy Park with Paul Kaplowitz of the Tree Stewards of Arlington and Alexandria to learn about the native tree species found in the park and why they are well suited to an urban environment. Paul will provide tips for identifying trees, discuss the merits of native species, and answer questions about urban tree issues.

Things to know:

• Recommended Gear: Sturdy footwear and reusable water bottles.
• Meeting location: Gather outside Central Library near the entrance on the side of the building facing the tennis courts.
