Join us for an evening of Trans youth community and acceptance

The Arlington Transgender Youth Quilt project gives non-binary and trans youth a safe and joyful way of being seen and builds community and awareness in the broader community through a collaborative creation process. Quilt squares were created anonymously by local trans and non-binary youth and allies, responding to the prompt "What Freedom to Be Means to Me." The completed quilt consists of almost 90 squares on a 10 foot by 7 foot quilt, hand-assembled by allies and community members.

Come and witness the unveiling of the completed quilt for the first time. We'll screen a short video documenting the crafting process and hear from local leaders on their work to support and protect trans youth here in Arlington County.

Light refreshments to be served.
