Relax, enjoy the creative process, and tell the nation's story with collage

In this workshop led by Library Director Diane Kresh, participants will use cigar boxes, paper, or other medium as a base for their collage/assemblage pieces. The Shop will provide primary materials including: cigar boxes, paper, glue, ribbons, fabric, pens and paint. Participants are encouraged to bring your own photographs, magazines, materials or small objects to incorporate into your personalized artwork.

As 2026 marks the 250th anniversary of our nation’s founding, the May session of Collage Club will reflect on where we have been as a community, a nation, and a world. Together, we will consider what it means to exist in this moment and place. Bring your insight, your creativity, and your openness as we embark on this shared storytelling experience. Those who prefer to work independently on their own projects are warmly welcome as well.

All ages; Ages 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
