Ideas in Action: William James and Pragmatism

Plant a seed of knowledge with us!
Think philosophy is all abstractions and footnotes? Think again. Pragmatism is a philosophy rooted in real life, focusing on what we believe and how those beliefs—religious, aesthetic, and intellectual—shape our daily experiences. Join Dr. Rebecca Carr, PhD, from the GW Department of Philosophy, for a talk that will be followed by an open, participant‑driven discussion.
REGISTRATION RECCOMMENDED. Attendance is first-come, first-seated until room capacity is reached. By registering, you will receive event updates.
