Federal Workers Support Group: Preparing for the holidays

Connect with other impacted federal workers
The ripple effects of the mass layoff of federal workforce are being felt everywhere in our community. Whether you were a federal employee, federal contractor, or otherwise impacted by the federal workforce reductions, please join in this support group to share your experiences and learn from others.
This monthly support group will meet weekly for as long as the federal government shutdown continues.
Certified executive coach Eva Hogan will facilitate a group conversation about how to both mentally and financially prepare for holiday gatherings with family and friends. Arlington Public Library will also provide available resources to help you find new employment should the need arise. Please note, this program will not be livestreamed or recorded.
This support group will meet monthly from September - November with facilitated discussions focused loosely on these topics:
- Thursday, September 18: (Re)discovering creativity
- Thursday, October 30: What's next?
- Thursday, November 20: Preparing for the holidays
Light refreshments will be served.
REGISTRATION RECOMMENDED. By registering, you will receive event updates.
