Artist Talk: Photographer Robin Stombler
Learn about Green Valley through the eyes of photographer Robin Stombler
Join Arlington Public Library and artist and local civic activist Robin Stombler as she discusses the inspiration for her two photography books about Arlington’s Green Valley community. Stombler's photographs explore how physical and demographic transformations intertwine to reshape what it means to live in Green Valley.
Artist Statement: “Through my photographs, I wanted to reflect on how the community is adapting and evolving,” said Stombler. “There’s a constant push and pull between change and preservation, and I wanted to document that balance.”
The artist's work will be on display at Shirlington Library Oct. 1 - Oct. 31, 2025.
