This performance has been rescheduled for Tuesday, September 30th, at 7p.m.

Travel back in time with a living composer and his colleagues!

Enjoy a modern-day, original work by a local composer - a quintet for clarinet and strings. Inspired by a casual conversation between musicians during a carpool trip, this work of art reconciles centuries-old classical music concepts with their modern-day interpretation. The piece brings into harmony the contrasting nature of the clarinet with the violin, viola, and cello. Come witness the thought experiment derived from the collaboration of violinist Kyle Simmons (pictured second from the left) and CNN correspondent and clarinetist (pictured on the far right) Karin Caifa!

Cosponsored by the Glencarlyn Civic Association.
