Join Arlington Public Library at the Arlington Historical Museum
Visit the voting rights exhibition "From Barriers to Ballots" at the Arlington Historical Society's recently reopened museum. Engage with artifacts and documents from its collections pertaining to Arlington's local voting history.
To commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, Arlington Public Library has partnered with several community organizations to tell the stories of activists, changemakers and everyday people in Arlington and Northern Virginia who fought for voting rights.
Visit our exhibit, "From Barriers to Ballots"
Aug. 1 - Nov. 4: at Bozman Government Center, Central Library, Arlington Historical Museum, Black Heritage Museum of Arlington and Sherwood Regional and City of Fairfax Regional Libraries.
In partnership with the Arlington Historical Society, the Black Heritage Museum of Arlington, the League of Women Voters of Arlington and Alexandria City and the NAACP Arlington Branch
