Civic Conversations: Immigration

Join the library for a civil discussion of challenging topics
Let's practice engaging in calm dialogue and model that in the world. Each Civic Conversation event will feature a different topic. We welcome your topic suggestions and will do our best to feature topics of general local interest.
Topic: Let's talk about immigration
How it works:
The purpose of these conversations is not to change minds but to increase respect, understanding and connection.
We'll enjoy a pizza dinner and get to know each other before beginning our conversations. Staff or experienced volunteers will introduce the topic. Small groups will then engage in structured discussions designed to foster connection and understanding among participants.
