Exercise Essentials: Understanding the Recommended Guidelines
Please join us here at Westover for an engaging review of the recommendations for exercise quantity for different groups and how to meet those guidelines. The different aspects of the FITT principle (frequency, intensity, time and type) will be explained and options on how to use these guidelines to customize exercise programs to reach desired fitness goals.
About the Presenter: Ashley Ching is an ACSM-certified personal trainer. She received an undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Pittsburgh and has a master's degree in health science from Trident University International. Ashley is passionate about working with prenatal clients and helping older women strength train to combat osteoporosis.
Body Dynamics, a health and wellness center, is presenting a 4-part health information series at Westover Library in September and October. Each session will cover a different wellness topic. Make your health a priority and come join for one session or all four sessions!
