Join us to learn about neighborhood trees in the Cherrydale community
Meet at the front entrance of Cherrydale Library and walk 3 blocks to and from the Cherrydale Library. Please wear appropriate footwear for walking on sidewalks. Please bring water and, if it's hot, a hat. Ask your questions and get answers to some of the most common questions about trees in our community:
- What tree is that?
- How much water do newly planted trees and established mature trees need?
- Do I need to mulch, and how much is the right amount?
- What trees are appropriate for planting near power lines?
- What percent of my yard should be native plants to support birds?
- How close to my house or street can I plant my tree?
- What trees are best for soggy areas?
- What are the best trees for wildlife?
- What about deer?
