Steph Shea from Launch College Consultants will present on how to choose a topic, prepare and write the common and supplemental college essays, as well as discuss tips for standing out in the crowd.

Steph Shea is a communicator, educator, and mentor with over two decades of experience in the college counseling world. She has helped hundreds of students find the college that was the right fit for them, and where they went on to thrive. Steph has a background in writing and editing and absolutely loves coaching students on their college essays. Steph has a BA from the University of Virginia and a master’s degree from Harvard University, where she specialized in modern American fiction. Steph is the founder and owner of Launch College Consultants, based in Arlington. She is an active member of the NACAC (National Association for College Admission Counseling). In her free time, you can find Steph in the yoga studio, on the soccer field, or surfing in Rehoboth Beach. She loves dogs, dope tunes, coffee, reading, and hanging out with her three daughters.

Transportation: Parking in the garage located beneath the Bozman Government Center is free on weekends and after 5:00 p.m. on weekdays. We are also accessible via public transit: by Metro (Orange and Silver Lines - Courthouse) and by bus.
