Preparing for Retirement for Federal Workers

Learn how to prepare for retirement as a Federal Worker!
Join the library and Jeremiah Burke (Certified Financial Planner) to learn about the unique retirement factors particular to Federal employees. This program focuses on those planning retirement from the Federal workforce, but all are welcome. An open Q&A session will follow.
Topics include:
- How much money do you need to retire.
- Which TSP funds and other investments are well-suited for your personal situation.
- How much risk do you need to be taking in your retirement portfolio.
- Which benefit choices are best for your personal retirement situation.
- How to coordinate your FERS Pension with other income sources such as Social Security, and distributions from your retirement account(s).
- How will the changing tax landscape affect your retirement spending.
- How to beat inflation and make your money last for the next 3-4 decades.

About the Presenter:
Jeremiah Burke currently serves as a Senior Vice President, Wealth Advisor and Senior Wealth & Planning Strategist with F.N.B. Wealth Management. In this role, Jeremiah’s focus is on strategic wealth planning for the unique issues facing clients with substantial wealth. Jeremiah holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from The George Washington University. Jeremiah also holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP)™ designation from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc, the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® designation from the Investment and Wealth Institute, the Chartered Life Underwriter® and Chartered Financial Consultant® designations from The American College, and the CEPA designation from the Exit Planning Institute.
