Join the library and Jeremiah Burke (Certified Financial Planner) to learn about investing options, strategies, and important considerations as a young professional. This program focuses on those beginning their investment journey, but all are welcome. An open Q&A session will follow.
Topics include:
- The difference between stocks, bonds, mutual funds, ETFs, and other investments.
- How to appropriately invest for different financial goals.
- Understanding how your 401(k) or employer-sponsored retirement plan works and how to make the most of it.
- The different available investment account options.
- The pros and cons of investment diversification and rebalancing.
- Understanding the tax benefits and drawbacks of different types of investment accounts.

About the Presenter:
Jeremiah Burke currently serves as a Senior Vice President, Wealth Advisor and Senior Wealth & Planning Strategist with F.N.B. Wealth Management. In this role, Jeremiah’s focus is on strategic wealth planning for the unique issues facing clients with substantial wealth. Jeremiah holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from The George Washington University and the Certified Financial Planner (CFP)™ designation from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® designation from the Investment and Wealth Institute, the Chartered Life Underwriter® and Chartered Financial Consultant® designations from The American College, and the CEPA designation from the Exit Planning Institute.
