Join us for tea and a movie!
We will be watching "The Farewell". Fun fact: The movie is based on the director's real life grandmother's illness. When her grandmother visited the movie set, the cast and crew had to play along with the ongoing deception regarding her illness and she ultimately found out about the secret when the film was released in China.
Rated PG, 100 minutes. 2019. Directed by Lulu Wang. Starring Awkawfina, Tzi Ma, and Diana Lin.
Tea and light treats will be provided.
