An introduction to visible mending and sashiko stitching!

Repairing clothing is a rewarding way to show some love to yourself, anyone you care for, the planet, and garment workers everywhere.

Inspired by centuries-old Japanese practice, we'll learn simple techniques to show your wardrobe some love and give your favorite garments a new life. Bring your jeans with the holes in the knees, worn-out socks, stained shirts that you just can't part with (but you just can't wear out). Other materials provided.

Basic hand-stitching skill is recommended.

REGISTRATION REQUIRED. Space or supplies is limited.
