Meet fellow musicians and discuss songwriting!

Are you a new or experienced songwriter looking for inspiration and community? Courthouse Songwriters Group meets once a month to discuss the craft of songwriting, create new songs based on new concepts and prompts, and share our work in a supportive environment. Participants can be new or experienced songwriters and should have basic familiarity with one instrument. Bring a notebook and pen.

For February’s meeting: There will be a song-share as well as a discussion about writing love songs. Sharing a song is encouraged, but not required.

Discussion topics:

•    Jan. 14: Form
•    Feb. 11: Love Songs
•    Mar. 11: Silliness and Play
•    Apr. 8:    Storytelling
