Story and a Craft

For Kids in Kindergarten - Grade 5
Come learn about fearless Mary Fields, the first African American woman stagecoach driver. Mary overcame slavery and prejudice to audition at age fifty- three for the incredibly dangerous job of delivering mail in the wild west. After hearing a story about Mary, we’ll decorate cards so you can send some of your own mail after the program.
Registration not required. Admission is on first-come, first-served basis until event capacity is reached.
