Join Arlington Public Library in welcoming local author Emma Violand-Sanchez

Join us for a conversation between Library Director Diane Kresh and Dr. Emma Violand-Sanchez.

The former Arlington School Board member has published a new memoir about her work in education, politics, and activism. The work, "Dreams and Shadows: An Immigrant's Journey," recounts Violand-Sanchez's extensive career in Arlington Public Schools after traveling from Bolivia to the United States.

The author program will be followed by a book signing. Copies of the book will be available for purchase courtesy of the author.

Please note: the location of this program has been changed from the Auditorium to the Quiet Study Room on the second floor of the library.

This program will be livestreamed and recorded and is available for viewing here
