Drop-in to watch a wood turning demonstration.

The Capital Area Wood Turners will demonstrate their wood turning skills and answer questions about their craft. 

The Capital Area Wood Turners strive to provide education on turning techniques, wood finishing, safety practices, tools and related equipment. Their objectives are:

  • To increase appreciation of the use of wood in functional or aesthetic design,
  • To provide information on educational and exhibit opportunities for turning wood in the United States.
  • To facilitate networking, friendship, and cooperation among wood turners in the area 

REGISTRATION RECOMMENDED. Drop-in. By registering, you will receive event updates.

Please note: The garage at Central is unavailable and parking will be limited. Participants are encouraged to use mass transit.
