Documentary Screening and Panel Discussion: "unseen"

In Celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month and LGBTQ+ History Month
Join the library, Arlington County Employee Resource Groups and Virginia chapter of the National Federaion of the Blind for a screening and discussion of the documentary "unseen" (2024), which follows the story of Pedro- a blind, undocumented immigrant- as he faces uncertainty to obtain his college degree, become a social worker, and support his family. Through experimental cinematography and sound, unseen reimagines the accessibility of cinema, while exploring the intersections of immigration, disability, and mental health.
